FALL CLEAN UP CREW:  All parishioners are asked to help at our FALL CLEAN UP to be scheduled.  We are especially asking that our “younger” 50 and under parishioners sign up.  Please call Helene at

215-343-3948 by September 1 with your name and phone number if you can help us.

 

Adult (7thgrade through Adult) Religious Education will restart the 2ndSunday in September(9/9/18).  Classes are held in the Kitchen in the Hall from 10:30 – 11:30am.  Here are the topics Sept 2018 through Jan 2019:  

Class 1: History, Tradition, Symbolism – Our Church from Pentecost to the Present  Class 2: From September to August – Feast Days and Their Icons  Class 3: Special Parables – Behind the Scenes   Class 4: The “Real” Story of Christmas – The Holy Family’s Journey  Class 5: Why Religion Is Necessary for Complete University

Mark Your Calendar-The Tamburitzans are coming to town! Sunday September 2nd at 1:00 pmthe Tamburitzans of Pittsburgh will bring their spectacular show to Doylestown. They will be performing at the Czestochowa Shrine Pavilion. The address is 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901. Admission to the festival is $12/person.

Tea Time with Our Lady of Mercy - Monday, September 24, 2018-11:30 AM to 1:00 PM-Saint Maria Goretti Parish Center:  Lower Level.  Enjoy hot or iced tea and tea sandwiches in the company and companionship of our Mother Mary as we honor her under the title of Our Lady of Mercy.  Have fun with a game of “Tea with Our Lady”BINGO.
