PLANNING COMMITTEE NEEDED:  Anone interested in helping us plan the Banquet to be held at St. Anne's on July 24 to celebrate the blessing of our chuch painting by Archbishop Stefan should call Helene at 215-343-3948 as soon as possible.

EASTER FOOD & BABKA ORDERS:  Order forms are available in the back of church or on this website.  This year we will be getting our kielbasa from a store in New York thanks to Daria & Jim Cartwright who have agreed to drive there and pick it up.  Deadline to order will be March 14th.  Pick-up will be Saturday, March 27 (the day before Palm Sunday).  We will need helpers on Friday evening March 26 to pack each order and have it ready to pick-up on Saturday.  I will need 2 people to help on Saturday with pick up of orders.

Natalia Bunik (wife of Father Vasil) will again, thankfully, bake the delicious babka's this year.  She will need the help of at least 3 bakers who would be able to help her on Friday, March 26.

Anyone willing to help bake, sort and pack or distribute items should call Helene at 215-343-3948.

PUSSY WILLOWS:  If you or a family member, neighbor or friend have pussy willow trees, please start preparing to bring them in on Saturday, March 27 for distribution at 7 pm Saturday and 7:30 am/9:00 am Sunday Divine Liturgies.  Last year we did not have enough so please ask those who may have them now.

SHROUD OF TURIN EXHIBIT AT THE CATHEDRAL:  February 21 - June 29th, 2010.  Schedule:  Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm; Saturday from 11:00 am - 5:30 pm and Sunday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.  Tours are available for the Cathedral, Museum and Shroud exhibition during this time.  There is no fee for the exhibits.

On April 9 & 10 at 7:00 pm in the Cathedral, there will be a guest speaker presenting :The Shroud of Turin Mystery Tour.  Russ Breault, president of the Shroud of Turin Education Project, Inc. will present a 90 minute fast moving big screen experience using over 150 images covering all aspects of research of the Shroud.  Please contact the Phila Shroud Office for group information.
